Here's a new quilt where I have fun playing with the traditional Drunkard's Path quilt block. Rearranging the shapes always suggests mysterious 2-D structures on an unknown surface somewhere in the universe. Above is a stupendous night sky above the horizon (here it is a "Supernova" fabric pattern). I have couched black and silver yarn to outline shapes. I used Swarovski and glass sead beads for a "comet" above. This quilt is called "Horizon" and is 46 inches high x 33 inches wide. Photo by Stacie Moats.
