Winter does come to our Arizonan desert. The thaw after a snowfall coats our cactus with ice, but it survives. I experimented with translucent material for the melting snow and ice. I used fabric ink for the icicles. This piece is 30.5 inches wide x 22.5 inches long. Photo by Stacie Moats.
