This is my latest piece, "The Sky According to the Forest". It is a stylized version of my view, as a ground-dwelling hiker, of the forest "sky" while looking up. The tree trunks are improvisationally pieced with yarn "branches" that I have couched. Seed beads are added to the center. This quilt is 38 inches x 39 inches.
